Paddling in a dragon boat can be a great ice breaker event, it can encourage trust and team bonding and it can improve the team’s morale and engagement.
We won’t let your team be a sinking ship.
Paddling in a dragon boat requires synchronized team work. A boat full of paddlers that are not working together is a boat that will surely capsize. For a dragon boat to most effectively move forward it requires:
- Communication (listen to/follow the leader)
- Dutiful performance of proper paddling technique (to effectively and efficiently pull one’s own weight)
- Paddling in-sync (coordinated team work)

The Destination
The event takes place in flat water lakes, usually in Stone Mountain Park.
The Equipment
- Dragon boat
- Paddles
- Life jackets
The Coaching and Direction
We will give you instruction on proper form and paddling technique.
Give your team the opportunity to acquaint or strengthen bonds.
This service is currently available for up to 20 persons at a time. Participants do not need to know how to swim, however need to be able to follow instructions. It is mandatory to wear a lifejacket (or may bring own PFD).
For safety reasons we may enforce some restrictions.

Information for event participants
We make sure to provide with all the necessary elements for a successful event (water bottles, life jackets, paddles)
But you may additionally bring some of your own items.
You may bring:
- Your own water bottle if you would like, otherwise we’ll provide.
- Your own life jacket or PFD if you have one, otherwise we’ll provide.
- Any medication you need to keep with you in case of emergency. We will ask that you let us keep it safe and dry for you during the event and we will return it at the end.
All participants will be required to have signed a waiver before been allowed on the boat.
